There's lots to like about this Shiraz.
The fruit is wound up and takes a little while to unfurl. Dark fruits, aniseed, tilled earth, cedary oak all prominent. An enjoyable core of fruit strolls down the middle. Smooth but with a raspy rustic and flavoursome finish. I certainly wouldn't refuse a top up.
Cellar medium term or decant now to get the best from it.
