Dark fruit, black currants, cassis, fruit cake. Some olive action in there too.
Rounded and smooth delivery. Dense with enough acid to kick it over for up to ten years.
I'd like to snuggle up to this on a cold night with a piece of dark chocolate lodged in the side of my mouth. But a big steak off the BBQ and a glass of this would be just as comforting.
Medium term cellaring.
