Fermented in French oak 50% of which was new then aged for nine months. Oak has certainly played its hand here - a little too much perhaps.
Golden straw in appearance. Creamy, buttered toast, caramelised peaches and nougat. Soft but that whack of oak kicks in from behind adding weight and taking some gloss from the fruit. Full to finish with a long hang time.
Drink anywhere from now to eight years.
