Punt Road Napoleone Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Soft and inviting, another tremendous value pick from the Punt Road stable.

Whilst not in the same realm of 2015, there's still plenty of quality drinking here.

Char, hints of violets, earthy, sauteed mushrooms, bright cherry fruit. Scents of strawberries too. Whole bunch  (20%) is evident and not overdone. Only 10% new oak used.

It wouldn't take much persuasion to get through the lot - plenty of satisfaction here.

Drink now to 6 years.
