Airlie Bank Pinot Noir 2016

Uplifting fruit vibrance, this is more than a pleasant and satisfying drink.

Whole bunch (20%) and stalky characters hang long on the finish. Minimal fining and filtration, it feels clean though the density comes from the whole bunches.

Strawberries and rhubarb with a dab of spice. There's a savoury kick to the mid palate. Fine and smooth in the mouth, the finish is long and certainly moreish. Oh I like these Tim Shand wines.

Drink now to five years.
