There's no hero variety on the Granite Belt although some corners suggest Tempranillo works best. It's made in a few different styles too. This comes from the Crianza mould.
Red flowers, hibiscus syrup, some sweetness. Dark cherry and hints of sarsaparilla. Meaty through the middle. Oak plays its hand well. A good drink to wash down roasted or barbecued meats.
Drink now to five years.
