Pinot Noir from Kongorong, south of Mt Gambier in the Limestone Coast region.
Varietal traits are on show. Red and dark cherries, red currants, oak char, firmish drive, plus a few good shakes of spice to finish. A meaty kick through the middle. Perhaps a bit twiggy. It feels tight in the mouth with a gravelly like finish. I'm enjoying the aromas more than the taste.
I'd struggle to finish a glass to be honest.
