Angullong Sauvignon Blanc 2016

I have long believed that Orange produces some great Sauvignon Blanc, and perhaps the region doesn't get the attention it deserves. This release from Angullong is another reason to sit up and take notice.

Super fresh, passion fruit, pineapple, a squeeze of lemon plus some grassy notes and a snip of basil set things alight. And that's just the aromas spilling from the glass.

Picked from a vineyard at 600m above, the aromas and flavour profile move as one. Clean and crisp, the acidity is well balanced. Sauv fans would be impressed. I am too, and I'm not a Sauv fan.

Great buying for $20.

Drink now.
