Samuel's Gorge Grenache 2016

Is it wrong to drink a sample bottle dry? Well,  I did. A rare occurrence but my actions are justified here. I could drink a gallon of this - responsibly of course!

Such a beautiful thing. Red berries, red currants, dried red flowers and a tiny dab of fruit sweetness. It's a ride atop a magic carpet of pleasure. So smooth, so supple. It's moreish deluxe. It's the fairground teacup ride for adults. It sways and swerves as one with interest and dripping with pleasure - damn good drinking. Soft spices sneak up on the finish and give a subtle nudge they are there without stealing the limelight. Big love. Run, don't walk.

Drink now to six years.
