Aromas of rosella, blue fruits and sweet American oak makes a strong play early. The mouth is dominated by berry tart flavours and dark plums. There's plenty of density and give here. Licks of caramel courtesy of the oak tick away in the background with firmish tannins finishing slightly chalky.
