Chapel Hill Cabernet Shiraz 2016

Chapel Hill did not blend wines until 2014 their marketing gun Bodhi Edwards tells me. And it was with Bodhi where this wine started its journey. He kept pestering for the classic Aussie blend to be put together - and finally it was. A good drink all up.

A 66/34 blend, Cabernet features early before a rush of Shiraz washes through. Easy drinking, the fruit fills the mouth. A little sinew character lurks, blackcurrant leaf, blackberries and char the main players. A winner for a casual drink.

Drink now to six years.
