TarraWarra Estate Reserve Pinot Noir 2016

Such a pretty wine. Delicate and flavoursome with layers of pleasure awaiting you to peruse.

Produced from 32-year-old MV6 vines. 25% new oak with a mix of one and two-year-old barriques and puncheons. Made without additions and fermented naturally.

An inviting opening of cherry and touches of char, some sauteed mushrooms and kicks of undergrowth chime in for good measure. Time in the glass reveals faint blue fruit and violet aromas too.

Soft and silken through the mouth, it's a ride on a velvet carpet yet there's enough complexity and depth to urge further thought and consideration. Cedar chimes in on the back of the fruit with a long and seemingly never-ending finish.

A beautiful wine which will only get better with time.
