A 2015 release for around $20 - not often you see a wine at that price point held back that long, but here we are. There's plenty on offer too.
Swirl the glass and you have lots to ponder. Mocha, caramel, cedar, dark berries and mulberry. A sly appearance of mint can be seen too. Quite dense to taste, you don't miss out here. Dark chocolate adds to black fruit with those touches of cedar and caramel flowing through nicely. Quite drying and tense to finish, the tannins are firm and bold. They need to take a chill pill. Perhaps more time in bottle will help that.
Drink to eight years.
