Max & Me Mirooloo Road Eden Valley Riesling 2018

Phil Lehmann is making some crackerjack wines at the moment. If you've yet to hear of his Max and Me label, perhaps its best you introduce yourself pronto. This Riesling is a belter!

I sipped this on the second day of spring, and oh my, the warmer months will be nothing short of divine with wines like these in my hand.
Whiffs of pine-lime splice spill from the glass. In hot pursuit comes lime leaf, white flowers and a touch of old-school lemonade. A consistent flow of lime juice drips calling for your attention, flanked by zest and bath salts for good measure. An undertow of chalky feels latch on to a long and moreish finish. Boom time.
