Made with 6% Malbec, I get a sense it runs on its heels and struggles to stride out into a sprint. Whiffs of earth, lead pencil, dark cherries and some oak char. Smokey to taste with tilled earth and dark chocolate. Dashes of herbs are scattered but if only there was more lift. It's hard to recommend at that price point.
