Smoke and char straight up, granite like minerality works away in the background. Fine peppery spice is flanked by dense berry and black fruits. Well balanced acid and oak play along nicely too. Time in the glass brings whispers of clove, cedar and fine cocoa works its way in as well. Firmish tannins soften over two days of tasting. It's a wine which walks with a clenched fist but a softened soul. Dig in deep to find it and happiness will follow. Top stuff.
Drink 2019 to ten years.
