I haven't had a Teusner wine for yonks. Out for a casual meal, I spotted this on the wine list and figured I'd have a looksy.
Nothing really got the juices flowing here admittedly. A wine that never really got out of second gear. Dense plummy and black fruit, dark chocolate and some earthy characters with a dusting of spice to finish. I ordered a glass off the wine list but I wasn't racing to get a second.
Drink now to five years.
