Big Rosé. One you could throw a steak at. Deliberately made to steer clear away from all the pale salmon Rosés on the market.
A Bordeaux blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Verdot, it spent four hours on skins. It's weighty and buxom and dense to taste. Released with some age on its side, the mouth fills out, but it's not the type of Rosé you would class as refreshing. You need food nearby. Fair barbecue get up you could say, even beef carpaccio. Food would certainly enhance the experience.
Drink now to three years.
