Yelland and Papps Mataro Cinsault 2021

Friday night, a bag of Samboy barbecue chips, some footy on the television as rain taps on the roof plus a large glass of this = winning!

This is the first Mataro Cinsault release from Yelland and Papps. A 60/40 blend, 25% whole bunch Mataro adds further savoury beauty. Meaty and charry, think black plum skin and juicy red berries, the vibrant red cherries from Cinsault are evident. Spicy and long but still medium-bodied, this is an easy, no-nonsense drink that would even take a chill. Yep, pour me a large glass.

Drink to three years.
