Yelland and Papps Roussanne 2021

Always so intriguing. Always so delicious. If interest and complexity float your boat, get your oar and paddle this way. Autumn is the season for textured whites and this rockets to the top of that list ready to deliver supreme joy.

Cloudy in the glass due to no fining or filtration, this is dirty Roussanne at its finest.

Yellow fleshed peach, apricot kernel, lemon curd, honeysuckle and a lick of honeycomb, it's a wine that slides through the mouth with absolute ease feathering the palate with delicate textural detail. Fine creaminess and hints of vanilla add further pleasure. The key to wines like these is to drink them with a slight chill and not icy cold. Nail the serving temperature and you'll see a galaxy of interest. Serve too cold and you'll mask its beauty. Go here, please do.
