This is the first time I've come across this Paringa Cabernet, despite reviewing the Shiraz on several occasions.
Like its Shiraz sibling, this is an approachable wine. Sitting on the black fruit spectrum, there is a neat dark chocolate, dried herb and earthy presence adding savoury nuances to consider. A shimmer of soft spices chime in late with a tension that seizes up on close. Good drinking and a Cabernet that will tackle a roast or casual barbecue with confidence.
