After 8500+ reviews, this was my first wine tasting straight from a can. And why not? At 250mL, 9.8% alcohol and 1.9 standard drinks per can, it ticks plenty of practical boxes.
Lightweight and easy to chill, it keeps the wine fresh and is tailor-made for picnics, beach days and festival weekends. White lily flowers lead the aromatics, followed by cut green apples, pie apple, lemon juice and lemon zest. A gentle touch of elderflower adds a little lift and charm. The palate is clean and crisp, carrying enough fruit and freshness to keep things interesting without trying to be anything more complicated than it needs to be. And that's the point. This is fresh, fun and wonderfully approachable. There is a lot to like here, both in the packaging and what's inside it. Built for good times, well played.
