Ballandean Estate Messing About Durif 2016


A wine ready to take aim for a long stint in the cellar but drinks well now ready for a big piece of meat beside it.

Red cherries, drunken raspberries, sweet blackberries and pretty purple flowers. Delicately spiced, the mouth is filled generously by handfuls of fruit, dried herbs and sprinkle of dark chocolate all finishing with a stamp of powdery tannin leaving its mark. Big but well rounded. Inner warmth for a chilly night.
