Patina Scandelous Riesing 2016

"I have a fascination with Riesling," says owner and winemaker Gerald Naef. I know that feeling all too well Gerald.
Inspired by the off-dry Rieslings of Germany comes this wine retaining 24 grams of residual sugar.

Charge at the nearest Thai or Malaysian restaurant with this under your wing. A good wine to accompany a dish with some heat or spice.

Attractive aromas of green apple, lemons and bath salts set the mood. Pristine clean fruit and fairly well-balanced acidity shape the mouth beautifully. Lemon juice crawls through the mouth with cloudy apple juice clinging on for a long finish. In the end, the residual sweetness seems to wrestle away the attention a little too much. Still, it's a great food wine.

Drink now to three years.
