Bird in Hand Shiraz 2016

I don't see a lot of Adelaide Hills Shiraz let alone Bird in Hand wines, so it's good to be back in the frame. Shiraz sourced from a range of sites in the region.

All fruit parcels were kept separate prior to blending where 16 months in French oak (40% new) followed.

Medium bodied, black fruit, cola, tilled black earth mesh well with one another. There's plenty of depth to keep you enthused. The more air it breathes, the more those black fruits roll forward. Firmish and grainy tannins fan out and linger on a long finish. Great going and a wine which will bring plenty of enjoyment in the years to come.

Drink now to a decade+
