Montepulciano sourced from one of the coldest vineyards on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Such a food friendly wine. I yearn for porchetta right now. Black cherry, blackcurrant and dense plums swim among savoury goodness headed by dried herbs, shades of aniseed. A little tense with bright acidity, the high drinkability factor cannot be denied. Well worth a look for Monte fans.
Drink now to five years.
