Ridgemill Estate Lincoln Shiraz 2016

Right in the slot of medium bodied deliciousness. I tasted this at the cellar door and bought a few for the road. Later that night we sat around the table with friends telling all sorts of stories and another bottle found its way in front of us and disappeared in no time. The following night saw the same thing happen - the sign of a great wine. A fabulous drink oozing slurp factor.

Generous purple and dark fruits are thrown at you in handfuls. A fine dusted of white pepper ticks away. Licks of cedar and touches of clove flank a juicy palate which sees touches of bacon hock and game at the death. 20% whole bunches were used and adds soft savoury appeal. Such a delicious drink - moreish and then some. Run to this.

Drink now to eight years.
