A blend of four vineyard sites, this is a wine which sees savoury characters meander through building momentum. Cloudy in the glass, orange peel, whiffs of sarsparilla, sauteed mushrooms and dried twigs add to the usual varietal notes. A little funky, the palate fills out well with dark cherry and red fruit. Tannins are fine and moreish. Yes!
