A blend with a splash of Petit Verdot for good measure (70/25/5), the fruit comes from a few sites around Wilybrup and Yallingup. Twelve months was spent in French oak (20% new).
Not surprisingly, dark fruits lead the charge, but its the blueberry and mulberry fruit which chalks ups its cue and strides forward after some time in the glass which I liked the look of most. The mouth is easily filled no end and ably supported by dark chocolate, varietal mintiness and busty tannins stamping the full stop with authority, yet there's a subtlety, too, which comes along for the ride. I could slurp on this all night and see it reveal different shades of its personality as times slowly passes. Great stuff.
