A Shiraz which unleashes its inner beauty with consummate ease.
This was tasted at the cellar door on the last weekend before it closed - Savina Lane has the problem of running out of wine so shut up shop in October to ensure members get their allocation. Overall production sits at about 1000 cases.
Delicate and fine are the words that best describe this wine. White pepper is dusted through the mouth as are exotic spices. Pretty aromas are backed up by dark cherry and soft red berries with shades of blackberry. The finish is long, supple and moreish. Members save $12 and pay $36. All up, great stuff but a big ask at the normal price.
Drink now to eight years.
