Sarah and Stefano Radici have been making all the right noises since starting their Nuova Scuola range a couple of years ago. Their motto is, "Old world varieties, new world terroir." This Rosato made from Pinot Grigio hits the mark.
Pretty aromas of strawberries, red cherries and pomegranate. It sways and moves through the mouth with ease. Some width and breadth are coupled with a fine textural feel. Tangelo and manderin peel tip toe delicately before that pomegranate gains some momentum through the mouth. A lick of sweetness and a super fine spice adds a classy touch as your empty glass screams for a re-pour. Tidy stuff.
