Aromas of choc mint spill from the glass and had me immediately sifting deeper. Cassis, cigar box, sandalwood, cloves and blackberries. There's some good depth here but the mid-palate seems a touch vacant. The concentration on the flanks can't be denied with a good fruit and acid balance. A wine which is still in its youth, it will reward cellaring.
