This is Ballandean Estate's second release of this wine which was planted on one acre in 2015. Only a handful of sites across Australia have this Italian variety in the ground and it's found a happy home on the Granite Belt.
So fresh, clever use of old oak has imparted a delicate creamy drive. Scents of cinnamon and yellow flowers build wonderful momentum. Lemon juice, baked apple and poached pears entice through the mouth with a wicked lemon sherbet tang delivering a delicious moreishness. But that tang! A fabulous refreshing drink.
