Hidden Creek Tempranillo 2019

Charcuterie in a glass.

Meaty and smokey, dark plums and dark cherry fruit sit in the driver's seat. There's plenty of depth on offer here with spicy sausage chiming in. Big and sapping, robust tannins draw moisture from the mouth. Definitely a food wine, perhaps an afternoon meat board or pizza and pasta dishes but I could be tempted by paella.

Drink to five years.
