De Beaurepaire Le Comtesse Chardonnay 2017

Of all the De Beaurepaire wines tasted recently, I felt this Chardonnay was the pick of the lot.

A little Chablis esque, it's bright and fresh hooking you in from the outset. Seeing French oak for 10 months, the vibrance of the white-fleshed stone fruit sings with the oak well handled. Some impressive textural interest with a lemony pith sliding in on close, this is an enjoyable drink and a very tidy find.

Drink to three years.
