Violets and rose petals get your attention early. But the intro and energy don't flow through as much as I'd like. The fruit pushes through with a rustic-like swagger. Dark cherry driven with a black fruit cameo, a touch of sourness and fine spices lace the edge of the palate. A top food wine no less, this will accompany many meals with ease. Good stuff.
