For 20 bucks, this is a great Chardy. You'd be content tucking into it after parting with a lobster. It's a bargain really. Maybe people don't have lobsters in their pockets anymore and just use pay wave? Check this out no less.
40% was barrel fermented in new French oak for three and a half months. So fresh, white nectarines, rockmelon and lemons lead the charge. It is such an easy Chardy to kick back with, I like the little bit of biscuity and almond appeal. Very refreshing with a respectable length and certainly not weighed down by oak, it is a clever wine indeed.
Drink to three years.
