Robert Stein Half Dry Riesling 2016

Half dry but certainly a well measured wine. With 10 grams of residual sugar per litre deliberately retained, this hits the spot and then some.

Clean and crisp, aromas of tonic, wild field flowers and limes a plenty with a minerally beat running through the core finishing a little chalky. The sweetness compliments the fruit perfectly rather than detract. Juicy limes and Granny Smith apple peel dance with ease across the mouth. Damn this is good drinking. Riesling fans ought to make a beeline to this.

Drink now to ten years.
