Samuel's Gorge Mosaic of Dreams GSM 2014

There's two ways to look at this... Big, bold and powerful or warm and stewed. Mind you, with time in the glass, it has certainly grown on me. There is an endearing persona about it.

Earthy, meaty, choc mint and dried herbs. Quite robust early on. Give it time and the other side of its personality comes to the fore - stewed plums and dark fruits.

Power and drive is intoxicating - I just want to keep going back for more. I'm intrigued. Rustic yet smooth but warming all at the same time. Whole bunch characters roll through calmly to a long finish with dusty tannins.

That moreish factor and power has nudged this up to the 90's for me.

Drink now to six years. Have a slab of meat handy too.

90/100
