Dodgy Brothers Juxtaposed Sangiovese 2016

Scrumptious Sangiovese and a story of how good labelling sells wine.

Wes Pearson first had this under his 'normal' label and it seemed to crawl off the shelf. Some creative labelling was employed, and you wouldn't believe it, he couldn't keep up with demand. Just shows the consumer buys with their eyes... Big love for the label too.

Whole bunches used (30%) and picked early to retain freshness. Some Cabernet Franc was tossed in for fun too (12%). Bright, fresh and light. Herby, those stems can be seen and add savoury interest. There's a bit of acid crunch too - nice. As I sipped on this with Wes, tapas, pizza and pasta dishes consumed my mind. A great little wine.

Drink now to five years.
