A little shy initially, give this a little time to let it sing. And sing it does!
Bright and fresh, there's almost a crunch factor to the acidity. Sourced from vines planted in 1973, this Shiraz spent 15 months in French oak (40% new) prior to release. Red fruits and berries consume the mouth. Medium bodied, fine spices, dark chocolate and some earthiness all put their shoulder to the wheel. Red apple like acidity clings to a long and moreish finish. This will age well for the medium term.
