Very much a Bordeaux style in every way given the blend and how it presents itself.
Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot (55/38/5/1/1) come together delivering some good density but it's personality seems restrained. Some oak influence is evident and those savoury characters of olive tapenade, dried thyme and sage, some mintiness and char seem to overrun the blackberry and cassis fruit. Soft spices drive long. All up it's a tidy wine and a roast beef would be a handy partner.
Drink to five years.
