Malbec imported from Mendoza, Argentina.
Warm in the mouth and a little spicy to commence, this is quite front and mid palate focused. Touted to be a big wine but it is not at all I found. It's closer to a medium bodied Shiraz if anything. Some black berries, dark plums, touches of blueberries a firm rub of sandy tannin. Some smoke and char chime in late. Drying, it's a wine that needs food. It's okay but I'd prefer to take my money elsewhere.
Drink to five years.
