If you like your Cabernets big (really big), this is your weapon.
Muscular and upfront early, it's mouth sapping and puckering all the way. Much like the Reserve Shiraz, it settled down on the second day of tasting but I suspect most won't have the luxury of waiting a day after opening. A good decant for a few hours prior to serving is the best antidote.
Dark chocolate and dark berry fruit plus black plums. Some roasted peppers and mint add appeal. A Sunday roast lamb or fatty lamb chops may be needed to curb it's frame.
