The fruit is playful yet there's a serious look in its eye. Red berry fruits dance with ease early. Puffs of Hunter red earth add great savoury appeal as do dried herbs, some bacon hock and fine sheets of spice which reach out seeking an embrace. Soft tannins dry out slowly showing a glimpse of powder. A wine which will reward medium term cellaring.
