A Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre blend (48/44/8) that oozes black and blue fruits. Weighty and dense, it's meaty with charcoal and earth corrugated throughout. Give it a decant though - it looked much better on day two of tasting so time in a decanter will do it wonders. Many d'Arenberg reds carry a warmth and this is no different. Christmas cake and peppery spices to close, fans of bigger GSM blends will happily bask in its glory.
