There's a vibe pulsing through this Cabernet yet there is a focus as it goes about its work. The first wine released from the Coonawarra region that was fermented in a concrete egg, it's such a delight to ponder and sip slow.
So silky, its medium to full-bodied profile oozes cool. And what about the label and the classy shelf presence it delivers?
Blackberries, red plums and dark chocolate show a density, but it's a wine that's nimble on its feet as it sways and moves through every crevice of the mouth. A fine ribbon of mintiness comes with the territory leading to fine, soft tannins and a long, persistent finish. It's quite alluring really and I just love it. Well played here Kate Goodman and Lauren Hansen.
Drink to five years.
