It's generous and calls you closer. Dense plums, black currants, dark chocolate, dried sage and thyme all leap to their feet reaching out to befriend you but then exude a calming profile. A curious banana peel scent that throws you off course in the early stages but get your head back in the game and you'll see good oak integration as cedar does some talking as a result. Woodsy spices and pleasant tannins round off a tidy wine with a blackberry finish.
