Nine months on lees has delivered a wine of wonderful fruit, respectable depth and layered pleasure. White fleshed stonefruit walks with a casual tempo holding some cashew nuttiness and lemon juice by its side. A whisper of Kaffir lime sits in the background. Grapefruit tang sizzles and urges you to come back for more. Long lunches with Gold Band Snapper or just a casual picnic in the shade will do me just fine.
