Montalto Pennon Hill Shiraz 2016

A pepper bomb coming at ya in stealth mode. This Shiraz is quite expressive and may catch a few on the hop. Soft and generous no less, there's lots of pleasure here.

A whiff and all I want is pepper steak. Only makes sense, right?

Medium bodied, soft plum and raspberry fruit are flanked by a fair dash of cracked pepper. Scavenge around further to reveal clove with a meatiness through the core. Momentum is built steadily as it walks to a neat rhythm. Good drinking.

Drink now to five years.
